Science Tutoring
Danii offers science tutoring services to students from Kindergarten to grade 12, and into their first year of university. Are you looking to improve your overall grades at school? Do you have a specific goal in mind? Or do you simply want to learn more about science and topics of interest that your teachers don't have time to teach you? Danii studied Biology from the world's leading experts in their fields at the University of Oxford, and has been honing her teaching skills for over a decade. Whether it's biology, chemistry or physics, Danii provides individualised attention to help each student improve their grades and achieve their goals.
Study Skills & Learning Difficulties
Every individual learns slightly differently and Danii is an expert at teaching students how to utilise and hone their pre-existing skills in order to help each student to become the best learner they can be. Study skills are often overlooked in schools, and many students with low levels of dyslexia and other difficulties are overlooked. Danii did not find out she had dyslexia until she was in her second year at Oxford University, and has since expanded her tool-kit to include many methods that magnify her specific skill-set and way of learning. Your struggles are most likely pointing to your greatest asset, and Danii will help you learn how to use it.
Oxbridge Entrance Preparation
Do you want to go to Oxford or Cambridge? These entrance interviews are infamous for being tough going, however, the truth is that the professors are looking to see if you are someone who can learn from them. Danii interviewed at two Oxford colleges herself and after four years of studying at St Catherine's is well equipped to help you prepare for your interviews.

Danii graduated from the highest ranking university in the world in 2018. The most important thing she took away from her time at Oxford is her ability to think 'outside the box', using her God-given skillset to magnify her learning ability. Every student learns slightly differently, and every students can learn how to maximise their potential by understanding their own learning style.

Questioning is a fundamentally essential part of learning. Asking questions as a student allows you to categorise your understanding, and hone in on areas that are of particular interest, or areas that you need further understanding in. Being asked questions as student pushes you to become an actively engaged learner, instead of passive and disinterested. The difference between a good teacher and an excellent teacher, is their ability to walk the fine balance of questioning and offering content in a way that leads the student to conclusions themselves. These "ah-ha" moments stick in a students mind forever. These moments are the diamonds that glint through the blackened coal of the mine of education.
Students can expect individualised learning methods, a supportive and fun learning environment, and a focus on learning how to learn using the skills and knowledge one already has to pose questions that will lead the student to the understanding they need. Danii is an expert at building a strong foundation in science with her students that will go on to benefit them for life.
The Details
At Tutoring With Danii, we offer online tutoring sessions in order to help students around the globe. Sessions can be 1-2hrs long depending on individual needs.
In person sessions are offered by Danii in the Okanagan Valley, BC, Canada. Danii is based out of Kelowna.
